Medical support services
We use the latest technology to make sure you and your baby are safe and healthy.
Our services include:
- Real-time ultrasound. This helps determine maturity of the fetus and presence of multiple babies.
- Amniocentesis. A test that can determine fetal sex, maturity, genetic problems or deformities.
- Central fetal monitoring. Used to assess the baby's well-being and identify potential problems during labor by monitoring fetal heart rate and mother's uterine activity.
- Intermediate nursery. As a level III center, our nursery is equipped and staffed to care for any emergency or special needs your baby may have.
- Cesarean birth. If the need arises, we have a specially designed and equipped room on the unit to perform cesarean births.
- Stress/non-stress testing. This helps assess the condition of the fetus and adequacy of placental function.
- Certified labor and delivery nursing staff. We have many nurses who are certified in inpatient obstetrics by the Association of Women's Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
- Home phototherapy. Offered by our home health care department.
- Electric breast-pump rental.
