CHRISTUS Schumpert Home Care Services
House calls haven't slipped out of the medical dictionary. They have been revived by a growing national trend, which CHRISTUS Schumpert recognized when it opened Home Care Services.
From caring for at-risk babies and mothers, to identifying complications of chronic heart failure, the Home Care Services program helps many groups in our community.
The CHRISTUS Schumpert Home Care Services program offers nursing care, physical therapy, medical social workers, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
In addition to rehabilitation therapies for post-stroke cases and other debilitating illnesses, patient care technicians provide personal care services with support and assistance to caregivers who can help keep the patient in the home setting.
